The Wonderful Thing About Tigger...(Liam)

Liam enjoys his jolly jumper...almost as much as the boys enjoy watching him on it!

Happy Boys!

Lots of smiles and laughter around our house these days. The older two enjoy making Liam smile, and are good at cheering him up if I'm busy and he's fussy.


Liam has been enjoying his "solid" foods. He was more interested in making faces while having the spoon in his mouth.

I think the older two are going to have some occupation working with maps! They found an old phone book and discovered the map pages. I walked into the living room and they were sitting nicely on the couch, quietly pointing out Daddy's work, and people's houses. Then the drove their fingers over the roads.

I just love Darren's curls. I'm going to have to cut them again soon. Maybe they'll come back again!

Outdoors

We have been loving this wonderful weather. This past Sunday we went for a walk in the Orono Crown lands. The boys had a great time on our hike and didn't want to leave! You can see that even though they are surrounded by all this beautiful nature, they still have one-track minds....food!



Liam was outside while I was hanging laundry. Darren went into the house, found his favourite book, and brought it out so he could read it to Liam.


Evan decided that he was the garbage man - he would step on the ladder of his swingset and hold onto the handle. Then he put a few sand toys on the ground for his "garbage." That wasn't enough, so he collected all the patio furniture to add to his pile. After I took the picture, he went to the front, got the chairs from there, and brought the bikes and cars to his pile! Impressive. Of course, when it got to be time to clean up, everything was "too heavy" and "too much work."
(notice Darren's hat...he's very independent and won't let me help him put it on...sometime's it works, sometimes it looks like this!)

The Zoo...

We went to the zoo on Labour Day weekend with Grandma and had a great time. The weather was wonderful, and the animals were great.

One of the favourites was the elephant (or as Darren calls it, "Phant").

The kids enjoyed the splash pad (yes, I'm including Eric in the "kids" category!)

Oma & Opa's visit...

Sorry the pictures are a little belated. We had a great time, and the boys loved sitting with their Oma & Opa...

Darren even has a little smile behind that swollen upper lip!

I walked into the living room to find all three boys playing with their feet. Very cute.

I also have a few pictures from our visit to the zoo with Grandma, but they are at home, so I will post them some other time!

Waiting...

I am sitting at the library next to the computer with the USB port, waiting until that person finishes. Unfortunately the library closes in 10 minutes, so I won't be able to post. I can tell you what I have, though....a very cute September picture (3 smiles on 3 boys on the first try!), three boys lying on the floor playing with their feet, and a few pictures of the boys with Oma and Opa.

Darren had a bit of an ordeal on the weekend, bumping his front teeth on the slide at the park. After a few visits to the dentist and an x-ray, it looks like everything is going to be fine! He's more concerned about a little scrape on his leg than his teeth, so that's a good thing!

Hopefully I can post in a few days... I tried today!
