Ultrasound # 2

I had an ultrasound yesterday. The technician can't really give any results, but things seemed to look okay so far. This little one is a thumb-sucker (I'll describe it for those who don't see it: the round head is to the left, the arm is up top at the right, going into the mouth; the spine is the white line along the bottom right). We think it's a pretty cute picture!

Birthdays!

We have been quite belated in wishing Happy Birthdays!! First of all, Happy Birthday to Eric a few days ago. We celebrated with some cake, and then by getting sick!! Fun!
We also need to wish belated Happy Birthdays to Aunt Colleen, Uncle Michael, Jacob, and Tante Brenda...all which happened in the last few weeks!! All the best!

We're back!

We've had a lot of blond 3-year old Evans running around the house. We've been babysitting an Evan from church for a few days, and they had great fun together. They came up with these "glasses" on their own. If I need anything done, I only have to say it once... "Evan, clean up the toys....come inside...!" If I see them from the back, I can't tell which is which!


One day Darren didn't nap very well, and he fussed for about a half an hour before I came to get him. When I walked in, he was very proud of himself. He had thrown his blankets on the floor, his bear on the floor, his pants on the floor, and his outer diaper cover on the floor.

Evan and Darren have been having fun at Grandma's house. Fortunately it didn't rain at all today because Evan spent the whole day taking Grandma out for walks (I'm not sure which one is more tired right now!!).

Visiting Oma & Opa

We've had a great time so far, wonderful weather, and the boys are loving every bit of it! (especially the tractors!)

15 Weeks

Just a little bump!

A "Smile" of us...

Evan has recently started calling pictures "smiles." As in, "Mommy, can you take a smile of us?" So we have lots of "smiles" all day long! The boys love playing together, though Evan can get a little rough with Darren. This morning, I think Darren had enough and he bit Evan's eye (don't know how). He left a mark, and Evan left him alone!

VanBreda Camping

We had a nice weekend camping with some of my family. We had all of us, Auntie Jenn & Izzy, Grandma, and Uncle Steve & Reuben. Great weather, and not bad sleeping for the boys. Evan keeps asking if we are going camping again. He loved it!
