So this is the temporary one he had all week. By the end of the week it was looking pretty ragged!

As you can tell, his spirits were not at all affected...he had a great time posing - I had a hard time getting a decent picture!

The fibreglass one was put on Friday morning. He was very excited to get one with soccer balls on. It will likely stay on for 4-6 weeks. We have an appointment in Oshawa next Friday morning to check up on the progress. Unfortunately we also have an appointment at the same hospital that afternoon for Darren (the neo-natal follow up clinic), and weren't able to schedule the appointments closer together. It looks like two trips to the hospital next Friday.
Evan is crawling everywhere these days. The nurse said he should be able to walk on this one, but it is too akward for him right now.

Pretty cool cast, Evan! Hope that your leg gets better real quick!
What a trooper! He looks pretty cool.
Also, I like your couch! I know that it is not new anymore, but I haven't seen a good picture of it yet and we haven't been to your house for quite awhile. Next month, shall we?
How do you put pictures along the side of your blog? You must tell me!:)
I will show the kids Evan's cast tomorrow - they are very curious and excited for him! Expect a package in the mail soon! YAY! and FUN!
In "layout" where you have the option to add items (like news feed, titles, etc.) you choose "add image" or something like that.

Poor guy! But I guess that's to be expected, given Eric is his father and more things are bound to happen. Maybe Marya should just keep a monthly appointment booked, just in case. Heehee. At least we're giggling. Kind of. Hope you can turn this 'experience' into a fun memory soon!
