Oma & Opa came for a few days last weekend. Evan and Darren were counting down the days until they came. They spent several mornings draiwing pictures and colouring green John Deere tractors that Opa loves (okay, so he's very much a Ford man). He brought the boys some crayons, but took away the green ones so they couldn't colour any more green tractors!
Isaac & Oma hanging out
Darren & Opa working very hard at puzzles. Very serious business.
All four boys huddled around the iPod. The Muppets' Bohemian Rhapsody always brings laughter ("Mama!!!!")
We were also able to go for a visit to Oma DeJonge in Woodstock. She was in the hospital, but seemed to be doing much better.

Thank you for this blog post. Great Oma so very pleased with your visit. She hung the coloring pictures on the bulletin board above her bed and commented on how well the boys stayed inside the lines. The nurses were happy on how well the boys behaved in the hospital too!
When the boys were here a few weeks ago, we went by a John Deere place, and the boys giggled and said,"Opa does NOT like John Deere, but WE do! A great picture with Oma DeJong--that is an experience she will treasure--being with her great grandsons!
