Sorry for the delay in posts. We've been very busy here! Here are a few pictures from our recent cruise, in celebration of our 10th anniversary.
For reasons beyond our control, we ended up in New York City for an extra day before our cruise. We had a hotel room right in Times Square, so we could walk anywhere we wanted to go.
One stop that we saw was the World Trade Centre Memorial site. We were so surprised at the amount of security there was to get in! We walked through a lot of hallways with cameras, police, and dogs. There was a full security scan (complete with metal detector). Once we actually got to the site, it was so very quiet and serene. There were two waterfalls like this one, with names inscribed all around.

Nice to see those New York pictures! I'm glad that things worked out for you in spite of the delay! (What happened to the monthly pictures? I miss them! That's the trouble when you start something---it's hard to find the time to follow through all the time!)
When else would you be given the opportunity to see New York at someone else's expense?
Nice to make something good out of an unexpected 'bad'. Can't believe it was over a month ago already!

I'd say, "New York was a bonus for you!" We did not see New York until our 35th wedding anniversary!
And to end your photos of Isaac eating an apple, priceless! with New York being called "The Big Apple"!!!
