Aside from a thunderstorm and a good rainfall, we had a great time! The water was warm, the waves were big. The boys didn't sleep much (surprise, surprise), but had a blast.
The beach was everyone's favourite. Our little daredevil Isaac would go headfirst into the waves and laugh and laugh...
We enjoyed the recently redone boardwalk.
Liam trying to be like his brother.
Big smiles!
We searched through the forest for the giraffe trees. We think we found them...
Darren wasn't too happy here...
Much happier now!
More beach fun! The water was so shallow for such a far distance that there was LOTS of space to dig and build and splash.
Supper with Grandma!
A monarch landed on Evan's hand and stayed with him for a while. The poor thing had bent wings, and the naturalist explained to us why that had happened.
Darren at the lighthouse. Not sure what's up with the raised arms...
Much of the time we weren't at the sandy beach, we were at the rocky beach collecting rocks, throwing rocks, and skipping rocks.
Fun times were had by all!

Marya, What great pictures! The boys looked like they had a lot of adventures and fun together - how cool is it to have two kinds of beaches!
Memories made, I am sure :)
Sarah.
Thanks for posting those pictures, Marya! The boys certainly had a good time--and I did too! We'll have to do this again some time!
Evan looks double jointed in the 7th pic posted....:O)
Camping is the best for kids!!!
It does look kind of odd, doesn't it, Brenda! :)
