I haven't posted in ages, but I just spent a half an hour reading older posts, and really appreciated being able to see all the old stories and pictures. So I thought I'd do a few quick birthday posts, to let you know what everyone is up to these days!
Liam turned 7 in February! He is such an amazingly sensitive child. He thinks so deeply about things, and is very sincere when he talks. He is doing wonderfully in school. He is currently reading/writing/doing math at a Grade 3-5 level. His teachers say that he is such a great kid to have in class, and his friends love him. He particularly likes to play with his friend Ben V.
He had a birthday party with all the boys from his class, and it was a great day. There was Pin the Mouth on the Minion, and lots of cake and presents. Unfortunately, because of our strange winter, there was no snow for tobogganing this year. Maybe next year!
Liam played soccer for the second time last summer. He did such a great job scoring goals, and was always in control of the ball. He passed to his teammates all the time, so they could score too.
He still LOVES puzzles. We have two 500 piece puzzles, and he'll complete one of them in a few hours, then put it away and start on the next. He loves to read Big Nate, Wimpy Kid, and Star Wars books, along with his older brothers. He read the Hobbit in a few weeks, around Christmas time. He also LOVES to read Elephant and Piggy books with Isaac. Liam and Isaac are great game opponents. They play Monopoly, Labrynth, War, and many other games, with very little arguing usually.
Liam is doing great in piano lessons. He learns quickly, and works ahead sometimes!
He enjoys playing with his cousins. He and Eli bond because of their love for games.
He loves to laugh at silly parts in movies and shows (Full House). He learned to ride a two-wheeler in just 2 days. He hasn't lost any teeth yet, and is really looking forward to that.
We love you so much, Liam, and we pray that God will bless you for many more birthdays to come!!
