Bob the Builder
We haved a Bob the Builder CD in our van and Liam loves it. This is how he dances to music lately. He has also learned some new words, which the boys enjoy helping him with. The newest one is pretty cute - he talks about Scoop from Bob the Builder, calling him "Mook." He also likes to be a frog, walking around saying, "Are-bip, are-bip."

Swimming Lessons
Evan has been doing really well in his lessons. Unfortunately, the one time we were allowed to take pictures, they were wearing life jackets. Normally he doesn't wear one.
Things They Say...
I try to write them all down but I keep forgetting some. Here are a few:
- Liam was walking around the house being a turkey, "Boggle, Boggle!"
- I told Darren he was being a good big brother. He said, "No, I am being a good medium-sized brother!"
- Evan asked me if a namo was a man who took care of dogs. When I asked him about that, he said it was from the song, "And Bingo was his name-o!"
- My mom was asking Darren about his Sunday School lesson. She asked him what the snake said to Eve, and Darren said, "Sssss."
- Evan told me there was a boy in his class who lived in a stackhouse and he wondered what kind of a house that was. It turns out that this boy's last name is Stackhouse.

Isaac's Baptism
Isaac was baptized on Sunday in a wonderful service at our church. We were surrounded by family and friends and a congregation who has held us up in prayer. Isaac behaved wonderfully with Grandma, and the older boys did a great job standing at the front!
We had a nice afternoon afterwards, and the weather was great! Here are the VanBredas:

And the Renkemas (there was a picture later with all the Renkemas, but my camera battery died)

I just got this new bassinet for Isaac last week - I ordered it online after I heard great reviews about it. Up until this time, Isaac was sleeping most of the night in our bed, mostly on me...very tiring. And I would put him down sound asleep, only to have him wake up 10 or 20 minutes later - even during the day. But with this bassinet, he sleeps for up to 5 hours at a time (last night he was only up once) and stays asleep when I put him down! I love this product!! I'll do a commercial for Fisher Price if the need me. It has an inclined position so the head is raised, and he doesn't spit up. He also stays in a semi curled up position, but it supports his neck so there is no breathing issues, and it is certified for sleeping in (unlike carseats, swings, & bouncy chairs).
