This month, as father's day & my dad's birthday came around, we remembered him, and were excited to see this amaryllis bloom! I had set the pot on the deck when we moved in, and forgot about it. It sprouted leaves, and got one beautiful blossom, just in time to remember Dad's birthday!
We went to the Toronto Zoo for a few more times before our membership ran out. We enjoyed meeting the Pandas, and loved the Zoomobile and the splash pad.
We also added a new member to our family - it's a girl! Pippin is a 4-month old Dutch Decoy dog, and the boys are thrilled to have her. We spent the long weekend with Oma & Opa, enjoying a visit with them & Uncle Adam and Aunt Amy. We picked up the dog and she spent a few days there also.

Marya, that's amazing that the amaryllis bloomed for dad's birthday! You need to FB that!
I'm sure that ALL the boys are super excited about the new addidion to the family! How old is the dog? and how big is she expected to grow? Looking forward to meeting her.
